In the Image trip this Friday, and Focus Feud Monday!
We have a lot going on this week and next! First, we will be going to In the Image this Friday, November 21st. The students have brought in A LOT of donations (Thank you!), and will be going to see exactly what becomes of their donations. This is a fantastic and very humbling experience. Permission forms were handed out today. If you could please have them back by Wednesday, November 19th, that would be great! We also need volunteers to help on Friday, so please let myself or Mr. Nixon know if you would like to help out.
Second, Focus Feud is next Monday, November 23rd, right after lunch. Students compete against each other's focus classes in groups answering questions in a specific category. The funds raised help the students point total, but more importantly all of the money raised is put right back into our school! We use these funds to pay for planners, trips, and various building items throughout the school (last year we bought gaming chairs for the lunch room, lots of items for our classrooms, and lots of dodge balls, among other things).
To help reach our class goal of $500, the students this week can bring in money for different things we are doing during focus and in the classroom, or they can bring in $20 (the average needed per student to reach the fund goal) and do whatever they would like for the week! Here is a quick list of most of what's going on this week:
Last, we have our next money movie for their locker money next Tuesday, the 24th.
Okay...I hope thats everything! Please let me know if you have any other questions about this week.
